BYLAWS OF THE OPERATION COMMITTEE
Name of Committee
The name of the committee is the Operation Committee.
Purpose and Scope
The EOSA Operation Committee carries out the tasks specified in the EOSA membership proposal letter which are to be presented in each mandatory general meeting. These tasks include organizing the meeting, recording data, creating data graphics, developing the EOSA course program, sharing it through the calendar, and coordinating with EOSA mentors.
This regulation -at the same time- informs and instructs the EOSA Operation Committeemembers about their duties and responsibilities.
Membership and Head of Committee
Section I. Membership
Membership of the Discipline Committee is open to every EOSA member. Members are assigned by the Senate, which makes its decision by taking members’ preferences into consideration.
The members and the head of the EOSA Operation Committee are responsible for completing the assigned task on time.
Section II. Head of Committee
The Head of the Committee is chosen by a relative majority in an election open to all EOSA members. The Head of the Committee shall hold its position for a term of two years. Any EOSA member may be a candidate in its election.
Powers
The Operation team collects information via forms. All data entered into the forms is saved and stored. The relevant data are transformed into a graph format. The graph should be ready for upload to the website and follow a standard format. The required graphs have been shared with the Operation team. If an Operation team member exceeds the mentioned date to create the graph presented at the general meeting, it is reported to the Discipline Committee.
Section I. General Meeting Data
In EOSA, meetings for mandatory evaluation and innovation are held every two months. Each member is responsible for creating development charts that reflect the requested data. It is shared with other members as a presentation at the general meeting.
The form containing the requested data and the closing date of the form is shared with the team members via EOSA Announcement before the general meeting. Every member is asked to fill out this form. Members who do not record their data until the form closing deadline are reported to the Discipline Committee.
Graphics are briefly presented at the end /beginning of the general meeting as a presentation.
Section II. EOSA Lessons
Before the next semester starts, mentors and the team prepare for the new semester. The course schedule and hours are determined and uploaded to the calendar.
The courses given to EOSA members by EOSA mentors are organized by the Operation Team.
Keeping track of the course of the respective week and communicating with the mentor is the responsibility of the Operation team. The mentor is notified before the lesson, and the lesson duration and topic are determined. It is shared in its current form on the calendar. In a situation that causes a disruption in the committee’s working, the Discipline Committee is notified.
